Why do we use it?
It's a well-known fact that readers are distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters within words, as opposed to using "Content here, content here," giving the impression of readable text. Many web page and page breaking programs now use Lorem Ipsum as their default for preliminary text, and a search for "Lorem Ipsum" will return many unfinished web pages. Various versions have emerged over the years, some by accident, others more planned (with humor, etc.).
